I am a native Montanan from Belgrade, MT, with a passion for sports and a deep understanding of the physical demands athletes face. I have had my fair share of injuries and rehabs throughout my HS and College career, which is a big part of why I am where I am today. These experiences paired with an excellent athletic trainer to look up to, fueled my determination to pursue a career focused on sports medicine and rehabilitation.

During my high school years, I had the invaluable opportunity to shadow our Athletic Trainer, from whom I gained invaluable insights into injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation strategies. This exposure solidified my decision to pursue a path in sports medicine.

I enrolled in an exceptional Massage Therapy program in Williston, ND, where I earned my associate degree in applied science, specializing in Massage Therapy. Here, focusing my skills in Swedish and Sports Massage. Continuing my education, I pursued a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science at Dakota State University in Madison, SD. This comprehensive program deepened my understanding of human physiology, anatomy, and biomechanics. I am currently enrolled in the Athletic Training program here at the University of Montana. I am looking forward to joining the Range team and working with the community!

My PT journey began after experiencing several orthopedic injuries as a high school athlete. I had always been interested in movement, strength training, and athletic performance, but I also saw how much positivity physical therapists can bring into their patients’ lives. I became a personal trainer at 18, then went on to complete a six-month strength and conditioning internship at the University of Wisconsin before graduating with honors from Western Carolina University in 2011. In 2012, I obtained my massage therapy license so I could work and live around ski areas before moving on to my ultimate goal of becoming a physical therapist.

In 2016, I was accepted into the University of Montana physical therapy program and graduated in 2019. Since graduating, I have worked in several different settings with a broad range of patients, from professional athletes to children with neurodegenerative disorders. My treatment philosophy blends the strengths of my backgrounds in exercise prescription and manual therapy. I see myself as a facilitator in each patient’s healing journey and strive to empower every patient to reach their goals.

Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible with my dog, Jocko. I also enjoy skiing, mountain biking, playing music, gardening, and improving my home. I love Missoula and all that it has to offer, and I’m excited to be a part of Range PT.

I was raised north of Missoula on the Flathead Indian Reservation with the Mission Mountain Range in my backyard in St. Ignatius, MT. I have always been inspired by the endless amounts of things to learn while experiencing the outdoors with friends and family. And I also know the importance of taking care of our bodies so that we can continue to recreate in the outdoors for work and pleasure. I am a graduate of Sacred Roots Massage School of Montana, where I completed 750 hour Massage Certification and was able to embark on my career as a Massage Therapist. I have always been enthralled with health and wellness, and going through my massage therapy program only deepened my appreciation for the human body and all its capabilities. As a Massage Therapist I am passionate about full-body relaxation and therapeutic massage techniques. I look forward to meeting my clients where they are today, with compassion and grace.

When I am not working, I am obsessed with my dog Flora, cooking with friends, landscaping, swimming in the rivers, boating, mountain biking and snowboarding.

I am a Missoula native, and I am so excited to be able to help the community I call home. I graduated from Pacific University of Oregon in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Physiology, with an emphasis in Integrative Physiology. During my time at Pacific, I played on the Women’s Basketball team for four years, and after undergoing two knee surgeries while playing for the Boxers, my passion for physical therapy intensified.

I went on to receive my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Nova Southeastern University in Tampa, Florida in 2016. My time in Florida gave me valuable and unique experiences across different outpatient settings, including working at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, where I specialized in Sports Orthopedic Rehabilitation.

My clinical interests include sports rehabilitation, adult and pediatric orthopedics, pregnancy and postpartum care, and neurological disorders. When I am not in the clinic, I love baking and spending time with my family. I am excited to be a part of the Range team and work with this amazing community!

I earned my Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2015. After working in a variety of clinical settings, I chose to focus my career on orthopedics and sports medicine, completing the Gundersen Sports Physical Therapy Residency along with advanced manual therapy training. As part of my residency, I served as adjunct faculty at the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse DPT Program and presented my research on hip strength and running biomechanics at the APTA Combined Sections Meeting.

I am board-certified through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties as a Sports Clinical Specialist and an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. I also completed Herman & Wallace Pelvic Function Level 1 Certification, CoreAlign Level 1, and Functional Dry Needling Level 1 & 2 training.

I have treated a wide range of patients, including those with sports injuries and prevention, orthopedic and general musculoskeletal conditions, acute and chronic pain, pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, back and neck pain, headaches, and pelvic/women’s health. My approach combines hands-on manual therapy, individualized exercise prescription, and patient-specific care. I also provide services such as running gait analysis, bike fitting, throwing/pitching analysis, and dry needling.

Outside of work, I’m passionate about competing in triathlons and exploring the outdoors. I love running, swimming, biking, and hiking in the surrounding mountains.
